- The job duties performed by Employee in this position: Identify technical and scientific objectives of department, in line with the organization’s strategic plan and mission, then create and implement plans to achieve those goals, Maintain awareness of ISO 17025 ,ISO 9001 , and other governmental regulations and how they affect daily decisions in the laboratory, train lab technicians and assistants on the correct use of lab equipment, in addition to mentoring and disciplining lab staff, make sure the employees follow industry standards and safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples, also responsible for purchasing lab supplies or preparing ordering lists, often handle security documents and must ensure that all information and data collected in the lab is kept safe.
